Which Course is right for you?

STUDY AT THE HOME OF THE
CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB

The Carlton College of Sport offers two year-long diplomas, with academics run by La Trobe University and work-based experience facilitated by the Carlton Football Club. Both of these diplomas lead into the second year of a bachelor’s degree or immediate employment in the sports industry.

Elite Sport Business

If you’re a sports enthusiast interested in what happens behind the scenes of a professional sporting club, including how sport is managed, presented and promoted, then the Diploma of Elite Sport Business is for you.

Students will undertake four subjects of study each semester and will involve approximately 12 to 16 hours of class time or club-related activity per week. Students enrolled in the Diploma of Elite Sport Business will also have the opportunity to network with professionals in sport through the Industry Seminar series.

Sport Coaching and development

If you are passionate about sport and are interested in working on field with athletes, then the Diploma of Sport Coaching and Development is for you! Study a mixture of sports and exercise science, sport coaching, talent identification, game development, sport management, human physiology and anatomy subjects.

Football Development program

Take your game to the next level in the Football Development Program.

The Carlton College of Sport Football Development Program is an opportunity for any footballer keen to take their game to the next level, to spend a year undertaking an AFL level football development program at the Carlton Football Club, while simultaneously attaining a tertiary qualification in Sport Business, Sport Science or Coaching and Development.
